Desktop wallpaper configured on the Master Image does not display within published Desktop and a black background is displayed instead. The desktop wallpaper is properly displayed on RDP.

Resolution

  1. Set "Desktop wallpaper" policy to "Enabled" and apply the change by running "gpupdate /force".

  2. In Studio:

Problem Cause

Citrix policy "Desktop wallpaper" is set to "Prohibited," or another policy has this configuration that is applied with a higher priority.
