Instructions

With Windows Media Redirection enabled and working, video stream is decoded and rendered at client side and video screen is seamlessly pasted into virtual desktop graphic.

Below method can be used to determine if Windows Media Redirection works or not.
  1. Put mouse focus into virtual desktop
  2. Take a screenshot of VDI screen, like send a PrtScn
  3. If Windows Media Player Window is shown as a black screen in the VDI screenshot, it indicates windows media player is working. Otherwise, windows media player is NOT working.
