VDA : Excel 2013 slow performance

Description
Excel 2013 runs no problem in safe mode (excel /safe) but attempting searches and other operations in normal mode is slow and faulty.
Instructions
Disabled hardware graphics acceleration in excel.1. Within one of the Office applications exhibiting the issue, go to File --> Options
2. Go to Advanced --> Display
3. Tick "Disable hardware graphics acceleration" and Click "Ok".
