This article describes how to perform a backup of the license file of legacy CloudBridge platforms and VPX appliances.

Instructions

You can install a license using the transfer account under /files/licenses however it is not possible to perform a backup of the existing licenses (existing licenses won’t be displayed)

Complete the following steps to perform a backup of the license file of legacy CloudBridge platforms and VPX appliances:

1. Login to the appliance using the “admin” account

 

2. Enable the “root” account (disabled by default)

 

3. WinSCP to the CloudBridge appliance using the “root” account and navigate to /orbital/licenses and perform a backup of the licenses.
