Description

Allow the Content Switching vServer to monitor the status of the Load Balancing vServer(s) that it has bound either as the Default Load Balancing vServer or through Content Switching policies.

Instructions

  • Navigate to Configuration > Traffic Management > Content Switching and then click in "Configure Content Switching parameters" in the right panel.

Configuring Content Switching Parameters.

  • Check the box for State Update and click OK.
Enabling State Update

Notes:
  • State Update can only be enabled/disabled globally.
  • If the Default Load Balancing Virtual Server is defined for the CS vServer then the target LB vServer will take precedence and its status will define the status of the CS vServer.
  • If multiple CS policies are bound then all target LB vServers must be Up in order for the CS vServer to be marked as Up.
