Description
Double Cursor display and Black patch behind cursor when using Excel Using Linux Receiver - Very intermittently – Windows Key stops working.
Resolution
- Try disabling Hardware acceleration options for excel, in File > Options > Advanced.
- In the "Display " section, check "Disable hardware graphics acceleration";
- If you see black part when dragging, it suggests the system memory is not adequate, please try editing the DDC console settings to set “Display Memory Limit” to 128M, which is the largest possible value;
- You may also take a try on VDA, Computers -> properties -> Advanced System Settings -> Performance -> Settings, select “Adjust for best performance”; Since HF32 has already completed snow ball integration, changing to capability mode should be an acceptable workaround as it exhibits better graphics performance than legacy graphics mode. HKLM\SOFTWARE\Citrix\Graphics (DWORD values Encoder: Set to 0)
Problem Cause
LC4041 only happens with Excel applications in XenDesktop 7.6 legacy graphics mode. As 7.6 VDA has numerous optimizations for legacy graphics mode, we would recommend our debugging to be based upon HF32.
