Description

User sessions freezing / disconnecting. Network and performance has been checked and no issues found. However, TDICA 1005/1007 events are seen in the logs at the same time the error occurred.

This might be a problem with flaky network connections between the ICA clients and the VDA servers Session reliability when disabled can help. The server’s resource consumption is high – mainly memory which can cause the server to hang / crash.

Resolution

Check for any ghost NICs. Also, network traces should be collected at the time of the issue and analysed by the network team.
Recommended Upgrades –
Hotfixes Update 3 - For Delivery Controller 7.6 (64-bit)  (VDA Feature pack 3) – also includes Director and Storefront 3.1 upgrade.

If this issue happens for a particular VDA and if we are using Netscaler, IP address of the VDA can be changed as a workaround

Problem Cause

Can cause due to network related failures. Intermittent network drops.
