Description

Slow menu drop downs and cell switching performance on macro enabled excel spreadsheet. 

Resolution

  1. Disable "Hardware graphics acceleration" in Excel
  2. Open Excel and click File -> Options -> Advanced 
  3. Under the display selection tick the box for "Disable hardware graphics acceleration"



 

Problem Cause

Hardware graphics acceleration causes slowness/delays while working on a macro enabled spreadsheet.
