Question: Unable to install new receiver since we were getting the pop-up that later version already exists. Neither Receiver clean-up utility nor Microsoft fixit worked.
Answer: The issue ended up being fixed removing the following Microsoft security patch: https://support.microsoft.com/en-us/kb/3072630.
