Users report that certain registry settings and personalization, such as Outlook signature settings (among others), are not retained after they log off and log in again.
Depending on your environment requirements the solution may be one of the following:
1. Disable the Registry Key Inclusion List setting in the Profile Management policy
If your environment does not specifically require that only certain registry keys be synchronized, then changing this setting from Enabled to Disabled or Not Configured will revert the Profile Management configuration to the default setting whereby the complete User portion of the registry will be synchronized.
2. Add the required registry keys for the desired personalization to the Inclusion List
If your environment specifically requires that only certain registry keys are synchronized, then all the required registry keys for personalization (such as locations for Outlook Signatures) must specifically be added to the policy setting for inclusion. If not, they will not be retained on logoff.
This behavior is correct, if the Policy setting for Profile Management was configured with a specific Registry Key inclusion set.
This setting is normally used for environments where only specific keys from the registry are to be synchronized. If the Registry Key Inclusion Policy is enabled, it will synchronize only the specified keys and exclude all others from synchronization.
