Description
Unable to luanch application due to an error message " Windows cannot find C:\program. Make sure you typed the name correctly , and then try again."
Resolution
You could try one of the below options:
- If the application is in "Program Files(X86)", Change the "Program Files(X86)" to "PROGRA~2" in the application location properties.
- If the application is in "Program Files", Change the "Program Files" to "PROGRA~1" in the application location properties.
- Disable UAC from registry by setting the value EnableLUA to 0 under HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE\SOFTWARE\Microsoft\Windows\CurrentVersion\policies\system.
