Published applications have a blank icon

Resolution

Enable the following local setting on Server 2012 VDAs in question:

Computer Configuration / Administrative Templates / Windows Components / File Explorer
Allow the use of remote paths in file shortcut icons

Problem Cause

Local Policy on Servers VDA were blocking Application Icons from appearing in Session
