Many connection issues might be caused by configuration issues on your IT department’s servers or NetScaler. We recommend verifying your access to the Citrix Demo Cloud to help determine whether it is a server/configuration/permissions issue or an Android Receiver issue. We would also advise that users upgrade to the latest version of the Android Receiver.
On first run of Citrix Receiver for Android after installation no accounts will be configured, and the user will be presented with two buttons; ‘Add Account’ might be used to add an account whose details are already known by the user, while the ‘Get Demo’ button might be used to request an account that provides access to a demonstration service hosted through the Citrix DemoCloud.
On pressing the ‘Get Demo’ button a form will be displayed in which the user must supply their name and email address and accept the terms of use before pressing the ‘Register’ button to initiate registration. A demo account will then be created and an email sent to the user advising them of their account username and password. These might then be used to gain access to the demo store from which applications and desktops may be selected and launched.
