New deployment targets taking over 10 minutes to boot.

Background

Target device gets to the Windows splash and then it takes over 15 minutes to load Windows.

After Windows loads, there is no performance problem.

To resolve the issue connect to the ESXi console and view the size of some key directories. Look for common suspects (for example, logs that are not rotating properly).

Note: If you are unable to PuTTY into the host, move all the VMs off ESXi Host and reboot.

Problem Cause

This issue may occur if the RAMDISK on the ESXi Host is full.
