Windows 8.1 and Windows Server 2012 R2 have passed Citrix testing with the following Microsoft’s Updates installed:

• Windows RT 8.1, Windows 8.1, and Windows Server 2012 R2 update: April 2014

• August 2014 update rollup for Windows RT 8.1, Windows 8.1, and Windows Server 2012 R2

• November 2014 update rollup for Windows RT 8.1, Windows 8.1, and Windows Server 2012 R2

The testing is not all-inclusive. All tests are executed against English only environments. Issues may still be found upon implementation. Follow best practices for testing and installing software updates/patches in a development environment before implementing the updates in a production environment.

Where applicable, the update was tested on Windows 8.1, Server 2012 R2 platforms, with the following Citrix products:

• Receiver for Windows 4.1

• XenApp 7.6

• XenApp 7.5

• XenDesktop 7.6

• XenDesktop 7.5

• XenDesktop 7.1

• XenApp 6.5 (Refer to Note 1 )

• XenDesktop 5.6 (Refer to Note 1)

Notes

1. XenApp 6.5 and XenDesktop 5.6 have been tested in conjunction with Receiver for Windows 4.1 installed on Windows 8.1. Please note XenApp 6.5 and XenDesktop 5.6 are not supported on Windows Server 2012 R2.

3. Citrix Systems supports the update KB2919355, KB2975719 and KB3000850 for Windows 8.1 and Windows Server 2012 R2.

4. Citrix is committed to ensuring compatibility with the latest Microsoft products and provides reasonable effort support for Microsoft OS updates for XenApp and XenDesktop versions currently in mainstream maintenance.
