Description
Bloomberg Starboard keyboard fingerprint scanner fails to work within an ICA session despite the fact that the user was able to successfully remote the Bloomberg Keyboard Features USB device.
Note: The fingerprint scanner does work locally.
Resolution
Ensure that you are using at least the Bloomberg Starboard keyboard firmware version 0.2.52 or higher to connect to a XenDesktop host.
Problem Cause
This issue is typically because of the use of an older Bloomberg Starboard keyboard firmware.
Note: The Bloomberg Starboard keyboard’s special keyboard functionality cannot be redirected over XenApp. It has been tested to work on XenDesktop 5.6.200 and higher.
