Description

This article describes how to disable C-States and Turbo Mode on Fujitsu Servers.

Virtual Machines display memory spikes and intermittent networking issues. Servers might become unresponsive when C-States are enabled, or restart unexpectedly when turbo mode is on. C-States and Turbo are responsible for networking issues and unexpected behavior.

Instructions

To disable C-States, complete the following procedure:

  1. Disable C-States and Turbo Mode in the BIOS.

  2. Disable Enhanced Idle Power State as given in the following screenshot. This automatically disables the Turbo Boost technology.
