When the users try to run the Provisioning File (receiverconfig.cr) to add or replace a store, the following error might occur:
“Cannot retrieve discovery document”
Citrix Receiver for Windows 3.2 (or later) is not able to contact the store URL discovery path.
Example: https://storefront.example.com/Citrix/<StoreName>/discovery
The following are the three possible causes and the corresponding resolutions:
Access Gateway is not able to resolve the StoreFront fully qualified domain name (FQDN).
An incorrect Clientless Access method has been selected (Allow) on NetScaler Access Gateway 10.
If NetScaler Access Gateway 10 has been configured to use Clientless Access, ensure to set it to ON.
For any other configuration, refer to Integrating Access Gateway with CloudGateway.
Refer to Resolution 3 if one of the following is the cause for the error.
IIS services have Stopped, as displayed in the following screen shot.
Citrix Delivery Services Resources (Application Pools) has Stopped, as displayed in the following screen shot.
Ensure that IIS services are started including the Citrix StoreFront Application Pools. Check Event Viewer (Application, System or Citrix Delivery Services logs) for any errors generated that could lead to the root cause of the problem.
Check for any Antivirus blocking the access and connectivity to StoreFront.
