This article describes how to install a new certificate for Lights Out Management (LOM) on NetScaler MPX 8200, 8400, or 8600 appliances with LOM firmware revision: 2.03 or 2.04.

Requirements

Network access to LOM web user interface.

Instructions

To install a new certificate for LOM on MPX 8200, 8400, or 8600 appliances with LOM firmware revision: 2.03 or 2.04, complete the following procedure:

1. Log on to LOM web user interface with http://<LOM_IP> URL.

   

2. Select Configuration.

   

3. Select SSL Certification, as shown in the following screen shot:

   

4. Select Browse and then accordingly select the new SSL certificate and new private key file.

5. Select Upload.

   

6. Select OK.

   

7. Select OK to reset the LOM device and the new certificate to be effective.

   

8. Log on again to verify if the new certificate is effective. The default certificate is replaced by the test certificate.
