Where to Find Documentation

This document describes the issue(s) resolved by this release and includes installation instructions. For additional product information, see Citrix eDocs, the Citrix Product Documentation Library.

New Fixes in This Release

  1. This is a feature enhancement for Web Interface 5.4 for Java Application Servers that allows the use of smart cards for authentication on Access Gateway and for single sign-on from the Access Gateway to Web Interface sites without requiring a password. For configuration information, see Citrix eDocs, the Citrix Product Documentation Library.

Fixes from Replaced Hotfixes

  1. A cookie error can prevent users from accessing Web Interface sites for Java deployed within a subfolder - that is, Web Interfaces sites whose paths contain backslashes. The backslashes are incorrectly encoded while setting the cookies for the Web Interface.

    [From WI540JAR002 ][#255118]

  2. When using Receiver for BlackBerry 2.0, seamless applications fail to launch; only published desktops launch.

    [From WI540JAR002 ][#255124]

  3. Attempts to launch applications can fail when the Web Interface site is added to the Trusted Sites zone and the session window size is set to "No preference."

    [From WI540JAR002 ][#258077]

  4. Attempts to launch a published application from the Web Interface can fail and the following Javascript error message appears. The issue occurs when the parent and child frames are from different origins or domains:

    "Resource link is not available"

    [From WI540JAR002 ][#260861]

  5. A XenApp Services site configured for user roaming does not display any error message when a user enters invalid credentials.
