Description

To create an ICA file with minimal parameters set, complete the following procedure:

  1. Download the ICA file from this article.

  2. Copy the content from this file into an ICA file.

  3. Update the username or password parameter with the relevant username and password that you use in your environment.
Note: Be aware that it is not a good security practice to leave the password in a text file.

  4. Replace the three instances of the word ApplicationName with the name of the published application that you are using.

  5. Replace the word IPAddress with the actual IP address of the XenApp server on which the application is hosted.
