Google Chrome by default is a ClickOnce installer type of application. This type of installer runs on the user’s profile and all information about the application gets saved in that location. There have been procedures in the past demonstrating how to use this installer of Google Chrome and configure for streaming. This article notifies that the earlier procedures are no longer necessary for Google Chrome.

Streaming Profile for Google Chrome

Google provided a different type of installer for enterprise scenarios. This installer is a MSI package where Chrome gets installed like any other aplication. With streaming, this is perfect if the installer is used instead, as no special configuration is needed to stream Google Chrome. The installer can be obtained as a free download from http://www.google.com/chrome/eula.html?msi=true.

Run the installation with no custom settings in the streaming profiler.
