Description
When configuring the default gateway of a NetScaler appliance, the “The gateway is not directly reachable” error message appears.
Resolution
Configure a Subnet IP (SNIP) on the same subnet as the default gateway and then configure the default gateway.
Problem Cause
The NetScaler IP Address (NSIP) of the appliance and the default gateway that is attempted to configure are on the different subnets.
