Description

Q: How long does a NetScaler Gateway VPN user keep their lease of an assigned or cached Intranet IP (IIP) address, even while not connected?

A: The IIP previously used by a user is reserved and unused for another user unless the Max Users number is reached for all sessions. At the point of exhausting the IIP list, the assigned-but-currently-unused IIPs begin to get reassigned to the new users logging in until all bound IIPs are used.

If there are more users than the IIPs, then the remaining users use the MIP(s) or SNIP(s) of the appliance instead.

Q: Is there a way to clear the lease table?

A: Reboot the appliance to clear the lease table.
