Session sharing fails in Published Desktops that use Pass-Through Authentication for accessing published applications.
This issue occurs when starting a Published Desktop using a Web Interface site and then starting a published application from Program Neighborhood Agent by using the Pass-Through Authentication method.
To resolve this issue, complete the following steps:
When configuring Domain Restriction for the Web Interface site, specify the NETBIOS name instead of the Fully Qualified Domain NameĀ (FQDN) in the Restrict to the following domains option, as shown in the following screen shot.
Note: Consider the sample domain name as CITRIXTEST to configure Domain Restriction.
If accessing the Web Interface site through an Access Gateway Enterprise appliance, modify the Session Profile that is used for ICA Proxy access to the Web Interface server.
To modify the Session Profile, in the Single Sign-on Domain option, specify the NetBIOS name of the Active Directory domain, as shown in the following screen shot.
This issue occurs if you have used a FQDN for configuring Domain Restriction. You can restrict a domain using the Domain Restriction option in the Authentication Methods section when configuring authentication for the Web Interface site.
The Program Neighborhood agent, which uses a Pass-Through Authentication, uses the NetBIOS domain name instead of the FQDN.
For example, if you have used citrixtest.lab as the FQDN for Domain Restriction, the Program Neighborhood agent uses the NetBIOS name, CITRIXTEST instead of citrixtest.lab.
