This article describes how to change Licensing Port in Citrix Virtual Apps 6.0 (formerly XenApp). In Citrix Virtual Apps 6.0, changing the licensing server port is done in two places sequentially. This article contains both the processes:
Complete the following procedures:
Changing the Licensing Port number in the Discovery Services ConsoleChanging the Licensing Port number in the License Administration Console
Open the Citrix Discovery Services Console and go to Policies.
On the center pane, under Policies, select the Computer tab, and select the Unfiltered policy.
Note: This policy contains the default configurations for your farm. You might have used another policy to configure your licensing. If so, use the same policy.
On the Identify your policy page, select Next.
On the left side of the screen, under Categories, select Licensing.
On the right side of the window, find License server port and select Edit.
If the License server port is set to Use default value, clear that selection and change the port number to the desired value.
At this point, the value has now been changed from on the Citrix Virtual Apps (formerly XenApp) side of Licensing.
Open the License Administration Console and on upper-right corner, select Administration.
Log on to the Console with administrative credentials (this password is created during the installation process. If you do not remember it, uninstall and reinstall the License Administration Console).
Go to the Server Configuration tab.
Select License Server Configuration, from displayed configuration options.
Displayed will be the port that the License Administration Console is using to communicate with the Citrix Virtual Apps Farm. Change the port number to the value that the license server is set to in the Discovery Services Console.
