New Fixes in This Release (Administration Package)

1. When browsing from Advanced options, administrative shares (like c$ , D$, and similar) are displayed in the folder dialog box.

2. When pointing to a subfolder of Advanced Options > Shared folder, the following error occurs: "Error -303: Failed to assign read permissions of computer to the path."

3. When a task is removed from the Installation Manager Administration snap-in, the task is removed from the Task Scheduler but not from the task history. As a result, old tasks are still enumerated in the Administration snap-in. This enhancement allows you to remove tasks from both the Task Scheduler and the task history.

4. This enhancement introduces the ability to browse for and select Active Directory groups for selected targets.

5. With this enhancement, the Browse dialog starting folder is the folder most recently accessed from the Browse dialog rather than a local default location.

2. When using a GPO to deploy the XA50_IM_UTIL_X64.msi or XA50_IM_UTIL_X86.msi files and selecting the option to disable the language check, the German language version of the program is installed.

Installing This Release

Notes:

• This version is packaged as a .zip file containing the replacement XA50_IM_ADMIN_WX86_1.1.001.msi, XA50_IM_ADMIN_WX64_1.1.001.msi., XA50_IM_UTIL_WX86_1.1.001.msi, and XA50_IM_UTIL_WX64_1.1.001.msi files. For more information about deploying msi files, see Microsoft article 884016 or visit the Microsoft Web site and search on keyword msiexec.
• To install this version successfully, servers must not have registry modification restrictions in place.

To install this version:

1. Copy the .zip file to a shared folder on the network.
2. Extract the .zip file and save the respective .msi files on the computer you want to update (according to supported platforms above).
3. Run the .msi files.
4. Restart the computer if prompted to do so.

If it does not exist already, this will add Citrix Installation Manager Administration and Citrix Installation Manager Utilities entries to the Add/Remove Programs list.
