Description

After rebooting the XenMobile Server or configuring database, we see the error on CLI:

"Failed, curl response = couldn't connect to server. Could not connect to database"

Resolution

Kindly verify the below steps

Solution 1:
Use correct password for service account.

Solution 2:
Verify network route is open from XenMobile server to SQL Database over port 1433 or if the customer is using any custom port, we need to use that port while setting up XenMobile

Solution 3:
Delete XenMobile VM and start configuration from scratch as a last resort.

Problem Cause

Issue 1:
Incorrect Service Account password

Issue 2:
Port 1433 was blocked from the XenMobile Server to the SQL database

Issue 3:
An event occurred (ex. server hosting VMs restarted or crashed) which prevented the configuration to be completed. Specifically, entering the database information.
