Tool Usage
- First Validate the existing blob’s validity on the License Server
- LegacyLicenseExtensionTool.exe -ValidateExistingExtBlob
- You should see validity till 29th April 2026 as shown in the snippet below
- The above command makes no changes to the License Server.
- Now import the new blob with extended date
- LegacyLicenseExtensionTool.exe -ImportNewExtBlob<path>
- This command backs up existing blob and Imports the new blob file
- It validates the change with Citrix Licensing Service restart
- If any failure is observed, backup is restored.

- Validate the current legacy license extension status.
- Import and apply new license extension blobs with automated backups and service restarts.

Prerequisites
- Administrative Privileges: The tool must be executed as an Administrator.
- Tool Version: Ensure you are using version v26.4.17.0.
- License Server Compatibility: The license blob must be specific to the License Server hostname (not the FQDN).
- The hostname is Case Sensitive.
