New Fixes in This Release 

This release includes bug fixes in Citrix Director to address the shadowing issue. For more information, see Knowledge Center article CTX695983. 

For the fix to function properly, the update must be applied to both Citrix Director and the Virtual Delivery Agent (VDA).

Installing and Uninstalling this Release 

Install steps of DesktopDirector.msi:  
1. Install\Upgrade Citrix Director using UI  

1. Copy DesktopDirector.msi to the target Windows server. 
2. Log in with an account that has local administrator privileges. 
3. Double‑click DesktopDirector.msi. 
4. The Citrix Director Setup wizard launches. (For upgrade, The Citrix Director Setup detects an existing installation.) 
5. Follow the on‑screen instructions and proceed with the default options. 
6. Allow the installation to complete. 

2. Install\UpgradeCitrix Director using Command Line 

Run the following command from an elevated Command Prompt or PowerShell: 

msiexec /i DesktopDirector.msi /quiet /norestart

Uninstall steps of DesktopDirector.msi:  
1. Uninstall Using UI  

1. Log in to the machine with local administrator privileges. 
2. Open Control Panel → Programs → Programs and Features. 
3. Locate Citrix Director in the installed programs list. 
4. Select Citrix Director and click Uninstall. 
5. Follow the on‑screen instructions to complete the uninstall. 
6. Allow the uninstall process to complete. 

2. Uninstall Using Command Line

Uninstall Citrix Director silently using DesktopDirector.msi via command line. 

msiexec /x DesktopDirector.msi /quiet /norestart
