Description
VDA application event log shows this error at the time of the issue.
Event ID 1012 TdIca
“The Citrix TDICA Transport Driver has detected a bad SSL Thumbprint value”
SSL is not enabled on the VDA.
Environment
Caution! Using Registry Editor incorrectly can cause serious problems that might require you to reinstall your operating system. Citrix cannot guarantee that problems resulting from the incorrect use of Registry Editor can be solved. Use Registry Editor at your own risk. Be sure to back up the registry before you edit it.
Cause
Issue is caused by enabling and then disabling the Network Telemetry policy setting.
Even though SSL is not enabled on the VDA, SSLEnabled stays set at 1 when it should have been reset to 0.

Resolution
For an immediate solution set this key to 0
HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE\SYSTEM\CurrentControlSet\Control\Terminal Server\Wds\icawd\SSlEnabled =0
This issue is resolved by upgrading to VDA 2507 CU1 or VDA 2511. No registry change is needed.
