  1. Verify Server Availability: Check the LDAP server's availability and connectivity. 
  2. Test Connectivity in SCG: After confirming LDAP server availability, test the connection within SCG by re-entering the management server information and verifying successful login.

Issue/Introduction

Issue

When adding a management server and entering the username and password, users receive the error message:

The server is not available. You can correct the server address or continue with the current one.

This issue was traced back to an unavailable LDAP server that the Scout Cloud Gateway (SCG) was configured to connect with. 

Cause

If the LDAP server is down, SCG cannot perform user authentication or device enrollment, impacting functionality.
