Description

To resolve this issue:

  1. Verify MIME Types on the Server:

    • Check the MIME types on the new server configuration to ensure they are correct.
  2. Correct or Add Missing MIME Types:

    • If any MIME types are missing, add or correct them as needed to allow proper file identification.
  3. Restart Services if needed:

    • After updating the MIME types, restart the Scout Enterprise Server service to apply changes.

Issue/Introduction

Following the replacement of old Scout Servers and a database migration, eLux image updates fail with an error message:

https request failed: rc=-10, ec=404 (File not found)

This issue may be due to missing or improperly configured MIME types on the new server, preventing the Scout Enterprise Console and Scout Enterprise Server service from identifying and serving the image file correctly.

Additional Information

Configuring the appropriate MIME types ensures that the Scout Enterprise Console and Server can correctly identify and deliver eLux image files, allowing updates to proceed successfully.
