Citrix Licensing - How To Enable Email Notifications When LAS Loses Contact with On-Prem License Server

Citrix Licensing will display a warning in the licensing Console showing when the License Server loses contact with LAS and has entered a 30day "grace" period as described here: https://docs.citrix.com/en-us/licensing/current-release/license-activation-service.html#las-connectivity-notifications

Customers may also want these warnings to be sent via email.

To enable email notifications for yourself

  1. Log onto Citrix Cloud using the CCID that is connected to your License server.
  2. From the Citrix Cloud management console, click your username in the the top right corner, and select Account Settings from the drop down menu.
  3. Select Notifications. from the Left hand menu, then go to the My email notifications section.
  4. Make sure Notify me via email is enabled.
  5. Under Manage my notification settings, for LAS notifications select the Warning type of notifications. By default, only the critical type is selected.

  7. Click Apply to save your settings.

To enable email notifications for non-administrators such as a shared or Team email address 

Use the steps in this section to add non-administrators as contacts for email notifications. If you attempt to add an existing administrator as a contact, Citrix Cloud will display an error.

  1. Log onto Citrix Cloud using the CCID that is connected to your License server.
  2. From the Citrix Cloud management console, click your username in the the top right corner, and select Account Settings from the drop down menu.
  3. Select Notifications. from the Left hand menu, then go to the Contact management section.
  4. Under Contact management, select Add contact.
  5. Enter the contact’s name, email address, and their preferred language.
  6. Under Manage notification settings, select Warning to receive LAS notifications.

  8. Select Add contact to save the contact’s information.
