In iPad device. end users usually launch ICA session by accessing store web in a web browser, downloading ICA file and opening the ICA file with CWA for iOS. It works well until iPadOS being upgraded to 26.x. With iPadOS 26.x, after opening the downloaded ICA file with CWA for iOS, the ICA connection progress bar may appear initially, remain for a while and then terminate.
iPadOS 26.x brings s design change on multiple windows of a single application. When opening the downloaded ICA file with CWA for iOS, if there was already a CWA for iOS instance running in the background (can be seen in iOS App Switcher), the new launched CWA for iOS instance will be forcibly terminate.
The temporary workaround can be either of the following two. Meanwhile, Citrix is working on a fix to address the issue in the near future CWA for iOS release.
