Desktop Lock Installed with the parameters:

  • AllowDesktopLockOnMachine
  • EnableDesktopLockForAllStandardUsers

Some clients the Desktoplock does not come up and the user is getting logged on locally with a Citrix Screen opened that seems to be the Desktoplock but isn't.

Resolution

On the machine CWA is installed, go to:
C:\Program Files (x86)\Citrix\ICA Client\Receiver\CitrixUserInit.exe
> Digital Signatures tab > Embedded Signatures > select shar256 > click Details
>View Certificate > Install Certificate
 
In the Certificate Import Wizard > select Place all certificates in the following store > Browse > select Trusted Root Certification Authorities and install the certificate.
  • Digital Signatures tab > Embedded Signatures > select shar256 > click Details >View Certificate > Certificate Path tab
  • Select DigiCert Trusted G4 Code Signing RSA 4096 SHA384 2021 CA1> View Certificate > Certificate Path tab > DigiCert Trusted Root G4 > View Certificate > Install Certificate
  •  
In the Certificate Import Wizard > select Place all certificates in the following store > Browse > select Trusted Root Certification Authorities and install the certificate.
  • Select DigiCert Trusted Root G4 > View Certificate > Install Certificate
 
In the Certificate Import Wizard > select Place all certificates in the following store > Browse > select Trusted Root Certification Authorities and install the certificate.
  • Reboot the machine.

 

This can be applied via GPO.

Issue/Introduction

Desktop Lock is not working after CWA upgrade.  The user is getting logged on locally with a Citrix Screen opened.  This only occurs with 2507 CWA.
