Step 1: Open Firefox Configuration
- In the Firefox address bar, type
about:config and press Enter.
- Accept any warning messages about changing advanced settings.
Step 2: Update DNS Configuration
- In the search bar, type
network.dns.localDomains.
- If the setting does not already exist, create a new entry:
- Right-click anywhere on the configuration page and select New > String.
- Name the new string
network.dns.localDomains.
- Set the value of
network.dns.localDomains to the name of your machine.
Step 3: Restart Firefox
- Close and reopen the Firefox browser for the changes to take effect.
- Retry the mirroring process in Scout Board.
