Description

To resolve this, use the following steps to configure and activate the Cisco Secure Client over WLAN:

  1. Activate the Cisco Secure Client Starter:

    • Open your .idf configuration file.
    • Locate Cisco Secure Client v5.0.01242-3.epm.
    • Enable eLux Cisco Secure Client Starter.fpm.
  2. Configure WLAN:

    • Set up WLAN in your device's network settings as usual.
  3. Create a Custom Application:

    • In Scout Console, create a custom application with the following parameter:
      • /usr/bin/elux-cisco-secure-client-starter
    • Name the application: start_cisco_secure_client.
  4. Reboot the Device:

    • Reboot the eLux client for the changes to take effect.
  5. Launch Cisco Secure Client:

    • After reboot, select start_cisco_secure_client from the applications menu.
    • Cisco Secure Client should open, displaying the connection window.
  6. Switching from LAN to WLAN:

    • Disconnect the LAN connection. The client should automatically switch to the WLAN connection.
