Steps to Perform Local Enhanced Diagnostics and save them to the USB stick:

  1. Access the eLux Device

    • Physically go to the device or access it remotely.

  2. Insert a USB Stick

  3. Open the Configuration Panel

  4. Go to Diagnostics

  5. Set Log Level to Enhanced

  6. Send to File System

  7. Select Directory by browsing and selecting the USB stick (or other desired directory) where the logs will be saved.

  8. Execute

Issue/Introduction

If you need to perform enhanced diagnostics on an eLux RP 6 device, you need to increase the log level to capture more detailed information for troubleshooting purposes. The logs can then be saved to a USB stick or other storage.

Additional Information

Notes:

  • Make sure the USB stick has enough storage space for the logs.
  • If you can not onboard the device to the Scout Server, you can choose an unmanaged mode of the device and download log files. 
  • After collecting the logs, you can review them or send them to support for further troubleshooting.
