This issue often arises due to case-sensitivity in the VPN configuration file names, which prevents the connection from establishing properly.
When attempting to establish an OpenVPN connection, a prompt for the username and password appears. After entering and confirming credentials, a "disconnected" message is received.
Once the configuration files are updated to be case-sensitive, the OpenVPN connection should work as expected, and the "disconnected" message will no longer appear.
