Description
For example, when you try to open [Version...] or [Replication Status...], it takes approximately 10 seconds.
The expected behavior is that the window should open immediately.
Cause
PVS servers communicate with PVS servers over internal connections.
Disk operations in particular require inter-server communication.
If some servers are unreachable, this is going to cause requests to timeout.
In particular, they will wait until they timeout and this will be seen as delays.
Resolution
Solution#1 Make sure "all PVS servers in your Farm" can connect to each other.
Note:
This issue will occur if there is even a single PVS server that is unreachable.
This issue occurs even if the inaccessible PVS server is in a different Site.
For example, it will occur even if a PVS server in Site "A" cannot connect to a PVS server in Site "B".
All servers in the farm must be mutually accessible.
Solution#2
Place the PVS servers in separate farms If the PVS servers cannot communicate with each other.
