License Server
Verify Citrix Cloud registration status in License Server
You can view the current registration state with Citrix Cloud using the following statuses directly on the Citrix Licensing Manager dashboard:

Verify the status of registered License Servers in Citrix Cloud
In the Citrix Cloud, navigate to Licensing > Licensed deployment > License Servers to see the registered License Servers. The date on which activation expires or renews is displayed next to the License Server name.

Registered License Servers are color-coded to indicate the activation status.

Verify entitlements in License server
In the Citrix Licensing Manager, select the License Activation Service tab. Your entitlements should now be visible, indicating that the entitlements have successfully synced from Citrix Cloud. The License Server communicates with LAS, and entitlements are updated every 12–24 hours.
Citrix Virtual Apps & Desktops
- In Citrix Studio, navigate to the Licensing node.
- Review the displayed licensing status to confirm whether LAS activation is active and valid.

NetScaler
Console Service
To understand if LAS is enabled and active on Console Service and the NetScaler instances licensed using this Console Service and with license type CPL/UHMC (Flexed) or Pooled BW, please follow these steps:
- Check if LAS is active on NetScaler Console Service: NetScaler Console Service is a SaaS and hence evergreen, so LAS is active and enabled for all Console Service customers (since Sept 2025 onwards). Note: Due to regulatory requirements, LAS is not yet available to all customers. If your current deployment was not provisioned with LAS activation, please continue to manage your licenses using your existing method. We are actively working to meet these regulatory requirements and will expand eligibility for LAS-based activation as progress is made.
- Check if LAS is active on NetScaler instances licensed using this Console Service: Navigate to Console Service GUI > NetScaler Licensing > License Management > License Activation Service (LAS), scroll to the bottom of the GUI and ensure that the NetScaler is listed in the ‘NetScaler instances in LAS’ list.

LAS Console on-premises cloud connected
To understand if LAS is enabled and active on Console on-premises cloud connected deployment and the NetScaler instances licensed using this Console on-prem and with license type CPL/UHMC (Flexed) or Pooled BW, please follow these steps:
- Check if LAS is active on NetScaler Console on-premises cloud connected: Navigate to Console on-premises GUI > NetScaler Licensing > License Management > License Activation Service (LAS) and ensure that the LAS Activation Status is ‘Active’.

- Check if LAS is active on NetScaler instances licensed using this Console on-premises: Navigate to Console on-premises GUI > NetScaler Licensing > License Management > License Activation Service (LAS), scroll to the bottom of the GUI and ensure that the NetScaler is listed in the ‘NetScaler instances in LAS’ list.
