Description

  1. Access the Scout Database:

    • Open the Scout database and navigate to the dbo.Groups table.
    • Right-click on the table and select "Select Top 200 Rows" to view the data.

  2. Edit the UseParent Field:

    • Locate the UseParent field within the dbo.Groups table.

    • If the value is currently set to 0, change it to 1.

    • If the value is set to 1, change it to 0.

  3. Save and Test:

    • Save the changes and verify if the Follow Me Desktop option is now adjustable/activated in Scout.

Issue/Introduction

The Follow Me Desktop (FMD) option may appear blurred or disabled in Scout, preventing users from activating it. This issue could be related to a configuration setting in the Scout database.
