1. What versions of XenMobile support LAS? 

XenMobile 10.16 RP7 and XenMobile 10.15 RP 13

2. My deployment of XenMobile uses file-based licensing. What are the steps to transition to LAS?

  1. Install or upgrade the License Server to version 11.17.2 build 51000 or later.
  2. Register your License Server with Citrix Cloud and ensure XenMobile entitlement is included in your Customer Account of Citrix Cloud that was used to onboarding License Server.
  3. Upgrade your current XenMobile installation to 10.16 Rolling Patch 7 or 10.15 Rolling Patch 13.
  4. Sign in to XenMobile Server console and navigate to Settings > Licensing.
  5. Set License Type to Remote License.
  6. Configure License server and Port:
    1. License server: Type the IP address or fully qualified domain name (FQDN) of your remote licensing server.
    2. Port: Accept the default port (8083 for LAS) or type the customized port number used to communicate with the LAS licensing server.
  7. Click Test Connection. If the connection is successful, it will show that LAS is available and the Licensing table is filled with available licenses, make sure Activation Status is healthy without any errors.
  8. Click Save. The configurations are saved, XenMobile Server will switch to use LAS.
