Issue:
Devices onboarded in Scout may block local diagnostic file downloads if diagnostics are disabled in User Rights.
This prevents administrators from retrieving logs or diagnostic data directly from the device.
Configuration Options:
Enable Diagnostic Features in Scout:
Navigate to Device Configuration → Security → User Rights (Local Security Settings).
Enable Diagnostic Features for the specific device or Organizational Unit (OU).

Reboot the device to apply changes.
Unlock Device Features on the Device:
Open the Configuration Panel on the device.
Press CTRL + ALT + HOME to unlock restricted features.
Enter the Device Password when prompted.
Defined in Scout → Device Configuration → Security → User Rights → Device Password.

Default password: elux.
Local diagnostic file downloads are blocked because diagnostic features are disabled in Scout User Rights. Without enabling these permissions or unlocking restricted features, the device prevents direct access to diagnostic data.
Step 1: Enable diagnostic features in Scout User Rights for the device or OU.
Step 2: Reboot the device to apply settings.
Step 3: Alternatively, unlock restricted features directly on the device using CTRL + ALT + HOME and the device password.
Step 4: Confirm diagnostic files can now be downloaded locally (e.g., to USB).
If diagnostic files cannot be pulled directly from an eLux device (e.g., to a USB drive), the issue may be caused by disabled diagnostic permissions in Scout User Rights. Administrators can enable diagnostic features in Scout or unlock restricted features directly on the device.
