Issue:
Default shortcuts such as CTRL+Win (taskbar access) and Win+Alt+I (client info window) may interfere with user workflows.
The "Show Desktop" button on the taskbar may also be unnecessary in some environments.
Disable CTRL+Win (Taskbar access):
Navigate to Advanced File Entries in Scout Console.
Add entry in /setup/terminal.ini:
Section: dconfm
Key: org.mate.Marco.global-keybindings:panel-main-menu:string
Value: disabled
Default value: <Control>Super_L.
Disable Win+Alt+I (Client info window):
Navigate to Advanced File Entries in Scout Console.
Add entry in /setup/terminal.ini:
Section: Layout
Key: ClientInfoHotKey
Value: disabled
Default value: <Super_L><Alt>i.
Alternate Key Combinations:
Win+Alt+c → Opens Control Panel (right-hand side).
Ctrl+Alt+Up/Down → Switches between active applications.
Disable "Show Desktop" Button:
In Scout Console, go to Device configuration → Desktop tab → Advanced.
Disable the Show Desktop icon.
Notes:
Apply changes to specific devices or entire OUs as needed.
Always test configurations on a single device before deploying widely.
eLux devices include predefined key combinations and a "Show Desktop" button on the taskbar. Administrators may wish to disable or customize these shortcuts (e.g., CTRL+Win, Win+Alt+I) or remove the "Show Desktop" icon to better fit organizational requirements.
