Director - How to use SQL query command to find sessions when "Peak disconnected sessions" increases significantly

From the Sessions tab, which will show "Peak disconnected sessions". Sometimes, customer will find there is a significant increase of "Peak disconnected sessions".

1. Download the attachment and unzip.

2. Login the SQL Server.

3. Select Monitoring Database.

4. Create a new table named "dbo.Monitordata.MIResult" with following columns.

 [SessionKey] varchar(255)
 [StartMinute] DATETIME
 [Username] varchar(255)
 [Machinename] varchar(255)
 [DesktopGroupname] varchar(255)

5. Create a new table named "dbo.Monitordata.MIDisconnect" with following column.

  [SessionKey] varchar(255)

6. Right click and select "New query".

7. Copy the text content in the attachment and paste to the SQL query window.

8. Run the command.

The results will be saved in the table "dbo.Monitordata.MIResult".

The Trends view on Director accesses the historical trend information of each site.

Sometimes, customer will find there is a significant increase of "Peak disconnected sessions", but it is difficult for user to find the details of these sessions.

This article provides the SQL command to find and save the related sessions when "Peak disconnected sessions" increases significantly.
