- The issue occurs only when linking user identities from previous months to the selected customer (tenant).
- Linking works fine for the current month of usage, but fails for historical data.
- This impacts reporting accuracy and may cause discrepancies in license utilization metrics.
This is only for CSP tenant
- Historical data not being fully synchronized with the tenant.
- API limitations for backdated identity linking.
- Configuration inconsistencies between tenant and identity records.
1. Enable “Previous Term” Option
- To link users from the previous month, enable the “Previous Term” toggle in the License Usage Interface (LUI).
- This option is visible only before the 10th of each month.
2. Perform Linking Before the 10th
- Complete the linking process for previous month’s users on or before the 10th of the current month.
- After the 10th, the option will no longer be available.
3. If Missed the Deadline
- If the 10th has passed, you will need to wait until the next month and perform the linking before the 10th of that month.
4. Verify After Linking
- Once users are linked, confirm that the license usage reports reflect the correct tenant association.
- If discrepancies remain, escalate to Citrix Support for further assistance.
