Description
The customer is using an NVIDIA GPU in a single-session environment. However, they have observed that applications such as Microsoft Edge and SolidWorks are not utilizing the GPU, resulting in degraded application performance.
They have confirmed in RDP session, applications can utilize the GPU without issue
Cause
Previously, the customer had configured CitrixDoD=3 in their environment to address another issue. As a result, the system sets the Citrix DisplayOnly Adapter as the default display adapter, and some application cannot utilize GPU
Resolution
Delete CitrixDoD=3 under HKLM\Software\Citrix\Graphics\AdapterMerits
