An important upcoming change affecting our services, driven by a recent announcement from Microsoft Azure. Azure has officially stated that the Basic SKU Public IP Addresses will be retired by September 30, 2025. You can read the full announcement here.

What Does This Mean for You?

As part of our commitment to maintaining a secure and reliable environment, we will be upgrading all CEM Infrastructure IPs from the Basic SKU to the Standard SKU. This transition is necessary to ensure continued compatibility and support with Azure’s evolving infrastructure.

Key Points:

• No end user impact. No impact to the admin if you are accessing the CEM console from Citrix Cloud.
• All CEM Infrastructure IP addresses will be migrated to Standard SKU.
• The upgrade is scheduled to be completed before September 30, 2025.
• Temporary service unavailability may occur during the migration process. We will strive to minimize any disruption and complete the upgrade as swiftly as possible.

Action Required:

If you have whitelisted any of our current IP addresses in your systems, firewalls, or applications, it is essential that you notify us. This will allow us to coordinate the assignment of new IP addresses and ensure your access remains uninterrupted.

Please let us know:

• Which IP addresses you have whitelisted.
• Any specific requirements or dependencies related to your configuration.

Once we receive your information, we will provide the updated IP addresses and assist you in updating your whitelist settings.

If your DNS entry is using CNAME type, there is no impact and no action to take. However, if your DNS entry is pointing to our current IP addresses, please update your DNS entry to CNAME type.
